Kerry, Ticketing and Sales Assistant Manager

Ticketing and Sales is responsible for onsite, telephone and online booking services, selling in excess of three million tickets each year for the royal residences and exhibitions at The Queen's Galleries.

The central Contact Centre, based at St James's Palace, answers approximately 100,000 telephone calls a year and is often the first point of contact for visitors, playing a key role in the delivery of high standards of service.  We answer customers' questions and help them plan their day.

We enjoy telling people about the wide variety of opportunities on offer, whether they are visiting with children over half-term or enquiring about our short courses and study days. We help to create a memorable experience for each person and at the same time generate income to support the charitable aims of The Royal Collection Trust.

This is a fast-paced, target-driven environment, and it is important to have good time-management, organisational and communication skills. Foreign languages are helpful, but not essential, and some roles require technical database knowledge. Most of all, we look for people who enjoy dealing with the public and making sure that visitors' high expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
