Sixteen drawings are on loan to the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, University of Birmingham, as part of a new collaboration between Royal Collection Trust and the Barber Institute. Drawn to Perfection: Masterworks from the Royal Collection includes sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Italian drawings by Raphael's pupil Giulio Romano, Claude Lorrain, Nicolas Poussin, Gianlorenzo Bernini and the Carracci family. The exhibition has been curated by students from the University of Birmingham's MA in Art History and Curating course, who chose the exhibits, identified the key themes, and wrote the accompanying texts and booklet.
