This is another version of the portrait commissioned by the Earl of Bute in 1764 (Scottish Private Collection), less good than another brought in the collection by George IV (OM 1002, 404335). The sitter is shown wearing pink silk dress with white lace cuffs and black chiffon shawl and holding a green fringe parasol; in landscape with classical urn on column to right and lake to left.
