The original of this portrait by Sir William Beechey was commissioned by the Fishmongers in 1814 (it remains in their hall) and exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1815. In 1845 Queen Victoria asked the Fishmongers to lend the portrait in order that Henry LeJeune could produce this copy.
