A night scene, with four figures; on the left Christ awakens St Peter; on the right the other two disciples sleep; in the background, left, Christ is praying beneath the moon. The painting is obscured by crystallized varnish, but it clearly belongs with another canvas attributed to Orrente in the Royal Collection, The Betrayal (RCIN 403471).
