Provenance
Made for Queen Mary's Dolls' House, 1924. The larger scale polychrome bronze was acquired by Bristol Water as one of two options as gift for Queen Elizabeth II on the opening of Chew Valley Lake in 1956, the other being the racehorse Aureole which was in the event, presented (RCIN . This larger scale version remains in the possession of Bristol Water. -
