Vishnu enthroned

Narasimha kills Hiranyakashipu as the sun is setting (neither day nor night) with his claws (neither weapon nor animal) on his lap (neither on earth nor in the sky) on the palace threshold (neither indoors nor outdoors), thus fulfilling the demon king’s death wish.
Lakshmi presents a garland to Vishnu, no longer in his Narasimha form, as the gods rejoice.
