Join us for this engaging session exploring The Queen's life and work as we mark her amazing achievement of becoming the longest-reigning British monarch, a milestone that was passed in September 2015.
What are The Queen’s favourite hobbies and how would it feel to wear her Coronation robe and crown? What does Her Majesty do in the splendid rooms we see at the Castle today and how can we tell if she is there? What does she do to make someone a knight at Windsor and why does she meet so many people each year?
Children are inspired to use role play and lots of imagination to find the answers to these and many other questions in our lively hands-on session about The Queen’s activities during her long reign of more than 63 years.
For groups with a maximum of 32 pupils, the session is held in the magnificent setting of the State Apartments on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For groups between 33 and 60 it takes place on Mondays and Fridays in the Moat Room, our dedicated learning room.
