New exhibition and book mark the centenary of the Royal Archives at Windsor Castle

Since 1914 the iconic Round Tower of Windsor Castle has been home to the Royal Archives – an unparalleled collection of documents relating to the history of the British Monarchy. From diaries and personal correspondence to account books and speeches, the Archives record and reflect some of the most significant moments in British history and provide a fascinating insight into the lives of monarchs and their families.

Group Travel Awards 2014

Buckingham Palace has been nominated for two awards at this year's Group Travel Organiser Awards, in the categories of Best Company/Venue Offering Guided Tours and Best Historical House/Garden. Voted for by readers of Group Travel Organiser magazine, the winners of the awards will be annouced at the annual award ceremony in June which celebrates the best in the group travel industry.
