Dr. Steven Brindle tells the fascinating history of how George IV and Sir Jeffry Wyatville reshaped Windsor into the Romantic vision of a castle. Gothic windows and battlements were added, and the Round Tower doubled in height all in the spirit of the medieval past. By contrast the new interiors followed recent French fashions with a truly astonishing extravagance.

The evening will conclude with a complimentary glass of wine.
