This special concert of music by John Dowland will be performed by Jakob Lindberg on a rare lute dating from the 1590s. The music of Dowland, who was born 450 years ago, was much admired at the Tudor and Stuart Courts where his songs and dances afforded the opportunities for sumptuous costumes to dazzle.
