The Royal Collection contains a significant body of work by women photographers

Polly Borland (b. 1959)

Polly Borland moved from her native Australia to London in 1989. Her bold portraits of celebrities and public figures, often featuring surreal, quirky or fantastical elements, helped to establish her name both in the UK and internationally.
