Second Song:
You rest on the circle of Shri’s breast, wearing your earrings,
And fondling forest garlands. Triumph, God of Triumph, Hari! 1

Vishnu and Shri Devi sit enthroned on a lakeside terrace, Vishnu with a prominent kundala (hoop) earring, and both wearing floral garlands. The patron and his wife stand to the left. To the right sit a group of figures: two princes and three purple-robed saints:Tulsidas, Namdev, and the blind Surdas. To the far left, a group of female musicians play the saranghi, mridanga, tambūra and manjīra while a dancing girl leaps in the air. In a pavilion in the top left a seated lady claps along as two other musicians also play the tambūra and manjīra.
