This edition of Masefield’s narrative poem about a fox hunt is part of the long folk tradition of stories about the trickster Reynard the Fox, who thoroughly outwits his hunters. This copy has been hand illustrated on almost every page by Masefield. Presented to King George V by John Masefield, 1930
