On her appointment as Poet Laureate in 2009, Carol Ann Duffy was invited to Jerez to be presented with her butt of sherry. Whilst there, she wrote the poem At Jerez to commemorate the visit. Stephen Raw designed the label for the bottles of sherry produced from the butt and the poem appears on the label.
