This pair of prints mocks two ungainly characters struggling into new clothes. In each, the main figure dwarfs a hapless tailor who strains to fit the garments. These prints were to prove popular and were copied in a French print of 1796. Probably purchased by Queen Victoria, 1854 Cats 36 and 37
