Designed for The Queen’s 1974 visit to Australia. This vivid yellow chiffon dress with a bias-cut skirt and silk shoulder cape is embroidered with large sprays of wattle, the national flower of Australia. The Queen had worn a romantic evening gown embroidered with wattle for her first visit to Australia as Queen in 1954.
