A full-bound brown sheepskin volume with gold tooling and the crest of Joseph Smith on the front. Inside, marbled endpapers and a watercolour frontispiece by Antonio Visentini of Smith's coat of arms, and a portrait print of Visentini. The volume contains 144 etchings and drawings by Visentini, many in his capacity as book illustrator for the Pasquali press. The volume also contains prints from his Prospectus Magni Canalis Venetiarum issued in 1735 after Canaletto's Grand Canal paintings. The drawings and prints were retained by Smith and pasted into this album, bound up in a Venetian bindery.
