Monochrome: Painting in Black and White at Stiftung Museum Kunspalast [Düsseldorf]

Transferring from the National Gallery in London, this exhibition focuses on painting in monochrome and features works from Leonardo da Vinci to Gerhard Richter. A highly finished oil drawing by the Italian Renaissance artist Federico Barroci has been lent to the exhibition from the Royal Collection. The drawing was made as for Agostino Carracci to use for an engraving and it will be shown in a section of the exhibition devoted to the use of drawings as models for prints.
