This major exhibition at the Louvre-Lens, a satellite of the Louvre in northern France, celebrates the art of the Qajar dynasty which ruled Iran from 1786 to 1925. The works on loan from the Royal Collection highlight diplomatic exchange between Iran and Europe and reflect how Qajar artists embraced modernity while maintaining craft traditions.
