This monographic exhibition takes as its focus a key work by Lambert Sustris in the collection of Caen Musée des Beaux-Arts, the Baptism of Christ. Bringing together a further ensemble of paintings, the exhibition will illuminate Sustris' vision and his artistic environment, particularly exploring the influence of his supposed master Jan van Scorel and his Venetian contemporary Paris Bordone. This exhibition is an exciting opportunity to assess a new attribution for Sustris' Diana and Actaeon, on loan from the Royal Collection.
