Landscape and Imagination: From Gardens to Land Art

21 March – 16 June 2024

A new exhibition at Compton Verney in Warwickshire will examine the connections between landscape and imagination from the 16th century until the present day. Paul Sandby’s watercolour of the garden of the Deputy Ranger’s Lodge in Windsor Great Park features in a section of the exhibition devoted to artist’s gardens and demonstrates the renewed interest in flower gardens in the eighteenth century. The exhibition runs until 16 June 2024.
