A hand-coloured print of a country scene in which an inebriated doctor is being wheeled home in a wheelbarrow who has been summoned to face the charge of neglecting his family by his wife who walks alongside the wheelbarrow shaking her fist. The wheelbarrow is being pushed by an amused man whilst in the background, two more men stand outside 'The Horns' pub laughing at the spectacle. In the left of the foreground, a chicken squawks whilst others peck around her.
