A hand-coloured print featuring 10 designs of rural life and people. Included are: a man pushing a wheel-barrow selling potatoes; salutations between a young man and an older man and lady; two female street vendors; a woman collapsed in a chair with an alarmed doctor; a couple courting underneath a tree; a couple dancing; another couple dancing to a bag piper; a couple on horseback; and a blacksmith shoeing a horse. Inscribed in the plate: Pubd June 1 1792 by S.W. Fores No 3 Piccadilly
