A hand-coloured set of three vignettes on one plate. In the top scene, a group of five horses pull a barge along a river; in the middle scene two horsemen enjoy a drink at a country tavern whilst a carriage goes by in the background. The final scene features people enjoying skating on a frozen river with people falling over and a woman is dragged along the ice on a chair. Plate 12. Printed on the plate: Pub Aug' 6 1790 by SW Fores N50 Piccadilly the corner of Sackville Street
