A hand-coloured plate with 22 vignettes of everyday life and work in the country. Included in the designs are: Three men lifting fishing nets from the water; two men chatting; a night watchman; a man being assaulted by a woman; assault; cart driving; hay making; two dandies skating; loading a wagon; a shepherd asleep; carriage driving; a man in the pillory; drinking; courtship; boxing; transporting horses by river barge and farm workers. Plate 4. Inscribed in the plate: Pubd March 8 1790 by S.W. Fores No 3 Piccadilly to be continued
