A silver gilt pineapple cup and cover; embossed and chased between lobes with scrolls on matt ground. Cover with finial cast as figure of Fortune leaning on a column; brackets cast with angels. Cup on stem with scrolls, herms, rams' heads. Circular foot.
ProvenancePossibly presented to a Master of The Queen's College, Oxford by Charles II; Rundell, Bridge and Rundell; by whom sold to George IV circa 1820. Sent to Rundells for regilding in 1828.
