Postcard of Grand Duke Constantine Constantinovich (1858-1915) presenting a military standard to the Emperor Alexander II Cadet Corps. He is standing in the middle of a group of military officers. Four of his sons Prince Gabriel Constantinovich (1887-1955), Prince Constantine Constantinovich (1891-1918), Prince Oleg Constantinovich (1892-1914) and Prince Igor Constantinovich (1894-1918) are standing in a line in front of him. A cadet standing to the right is holding the standard. There is a caption in Russian below. Grand Duke Constantine Constantinovich was the second son of Grand Duke Constantine Nikolayevich. He followed a military career as well as being a respected poet and served as the Chief Inspector of Military Cadet schools.
