Photogravure of the representatives of Korea present at the coronation of Nicholas II, Emperor of Russia. There are eight men arranged in a group, five seated and three standing behind them. Min-Yung-Huang, the Ambassador Extraordinary, is seated third from the left. He is wearing traditional Korean costume along with three others. The two men standing to the left are wearing western suits and the two European men seated to the right are wearing ceremonial military uniform. There is a painted wall behind them and a patterned carpet on the floor. The coronation of Nicholas II, Emperor of Russia was held at the Kremlin on the 26 May 1896. The celebrations lasted for several weeks and were attended by many foreign royals and dignitaries.
