A photograph of the interior of the Duchess of York's room inside York Cottage on the Sandringham Estate. The photograph shows chintz-covered furniture and accessories, photographs in frames on the mantle and bookcase, an assortment of photographs, including pictures of her brothers Prince Frank and Prince Adolphus of Teck, placed in a cabinet, and a small table with trinket boxes, with a basket of sewing or embroidery below. Queen Mary liked to keep herself occupied and usually had a project on the 'go'.
