A dagger or peshkabs with a re-curved steel blade thickened at point overlaid with gold a depiction of a vase with flowers. The hilt made of two plaques of walrus ivory riveted to either side of the tang, which is overlaid with gold. Crimson velvet covered wooden scabbard embroidered with gold and silver thread with gold mounts chased with a floral design.
Provenance
Presented to King Edward VII, when Prince of Wales, during his tour of India in 1875-76.
