New for Groups this Summer - A Visit to the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace and a Highlights Tour of the Palace Garden

Following a visit to the State Rooms with a complimentary audio tour, groups are met by their guide for a Highlights Garden Tour. The main emphasis of the tour is on the history and use of the garden.

Appointment of Director of Publishing and New Media

Ms Rellie joins the Royal Collection in May from the Getty Conservation Institute in Los Angeles, where she had been Assistant Director, Communications and Information Resources since 2007. In 2001 she was appointed Tate’s first Head of Digital Programmes.

Marcus Adams: Royal Photographer

The son of the photographer Walton Adams, Marcus Adams created a unique record of two generations of the royal children between 1926 and 1956.

Appointment of new Deputy Surveyor of The Queen’s Works of Art

Mr Bird is currently a Director of Christie’s, London, where he is responsible for sales of English Furniture. He will join the Royal Collection on 7 June and will succeed Jonathan Marsden, who takes over from Sir Hugh Roberts as Director of the Royal Collection and Surveyor of The Queen’s Works of Art on Sir Hugh’s retirement at the end of April.

A Kitchen fit for Kings and Queen
