Arthur Plantagenet, Viscount Lisle

Illegitimate son of Edward IV. Held a number of posts in Henry VIII's government before being appointed Deputy of Calais. After falling out with Thomas Cromwell, Henry's chief minister, was arrested for treason in 1540, and imprisoned in the Tower. Was pardoned in 1542, but died of a heart attack before he could be released.
