Windsor Castle: History Around Us

Students participating in a schools' session at Windsor Castle

This interactive talk explores Windsor Castle’s role over the centuries as fortress, prison, baroque palace, family home, wartime refuge, heritage attraction and residence used by The Queen for official duties. The session develops students’ skills in selecting and evaluating evidence on site of this changing role.

"This is a fantastic trip and the teaching pack helped us plan the visit.  Lots of useful information, presented in an interesting way."
