NEW FOR SEPTEMBER 2014! What did Queen Victoria write in her personal journal? How were family occasions and royal events recorded? Who was invited to 'dine and sleep' at Windsor Castle?
Using real sources of archival material, hands-on artefacts and replica costume we investigate this and more in our interactive session highlighted by the Semi-State Rooms, the very rooms long associated with and affectionately used by Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their family members.
Pupils will have the opportunity to engage with real Victorian works of art on display as a stimulus to produce their own artwork and/or inspire them to write creatively.
