Frogmore House and The Savill Garden for groups

Frogmore House and Gardens

Tuesday, 29 July 2014 to Thursday, 25 September 2014

Combine your visit to Frogmore House with The Savill Garden for a summer’s day out.

The garden is one of the enduring attractions of Frogmore. Queen Charlotte had a great interest in botany and was given free rein in the garden, which she laid out with rare and unusual plants. She formed an extensive botanical library, and flowers became a major theme in the house. The Queen commissioned Mary Moser, a renowned flower painter, to decorate one of Frogmore’s rooms with floral garlands.

The Savill Garden is one of the finest royal gardens within Windsor Great Park. It was created in the late 1930s by Sir Eric Savill, under the watchful eye and royal patronage of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. The garden is designed for year-round interest and colour.

Combined-ticket price includes a guided tour of Frogmore House in English and entry to The Savill Garden. Please be aware this combined tour is for pre-booked groups only.
