MARCUS ADAMS (1875-1959)

Queen Elizabeth when Duchess of York with Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, 22 June 1931

22 Jun 1931

RCIN 2943715

Adams was intrigued by the unique relationship between parents and their children, and sought to capture their bonds of affection in his portraits. His delightfully relaxed images of the Royal Family, which were widely published in newspapers and magazine, brought the Royal Family closer to their subjects than ever before.
