Soft-paste Sèvres porcelain tureen and cover. Bleu céleste ground with gilded decoration. Four reserves (two on the tureen and two on the cover) painted in polychrome with fruit and flowers, enclosed in frames of tooled and burnished gold which are formed by crossed palms at the top, tips overlying crossed laurel branches at the bottom. The gilded knob composed of two artichokes and an onion.
