A pencil, pen and ink and watercolour drawing of a country girl, leaning against a fence with a tree behind. Inscribed in pencil on the verso, 'Susan Carrol'. Sandby made many drawings of figures and persons in Windsor Great Park. If the inscription on the verso is accurate, the same sitter, a maidservant, appears in RCIN 914437.
