A portrait drawing of John More (1509-1547), the son of Sir Thomas More. A half-length portrait facing three-quarters to the right. He wears a cap and is reading a book. A study for the More family group (destroyed). Inscribed by the artist: lipfarb brun (complexion brown). Inscribed in an eighteenth-century hand at upper left: Iohn More Sr Thomas Mores Son.
