A drawing of women and children praying before a sarcophagus on a plinth upon which also stands an urn, a herm, and a statue. Three figures look on from beneath trees on the left. This is a larger and more expansive recasting of Castiglione’s pen drawing of a few years earlier (RCIN 903997).
