An etching of a nocturnal scene amidst ruins, with the pious Tobit standing on a wall watching as a corpse is secretly prepared for burial by two men at dead of night, during the Jewish Exile in Assyria. The only source of light is a torch on the right, so bright that one of the few bystanders has to cover his eyes. Inscribed on the left, above the dog; GIO BENEDETO / CATGLIONE / P.
