An etching of a woman standing in left profile, her head and face covered by a diaphanous black veil. She wears a decolleteté lace collar over a low-cut bodice, with a light skirt and bunched-up overskirt, and holds a closed fan. In the background, a park and lake, a palace in the Renaissance style with a medieval tower on the right, and in the distance a cathedral resembling old St Pauls - all evidently meant to be a view across St James's Park to the new Banqueting House and 'Holbein' gateway. Verse below. Only state.
