An etching of the elevation of the east front of Hampton Court palace, designed by Sir Christopher Wren. The formal gardens and fountains are shown in front of the building. Two putti hold a cartouche inscribed with the print's title. This print by Sutton Nicholls probably dates from around 1700, and was issued by the publisher John King. It shows the elaborate parterre of box hedges and fountains in front of the new east façade.
