Mezzotint of Queen Charlotte as queen. Three quarter length with pearl earrings and necklace, frilled bodice, and full skirt. Seated with needlework in lap, with the figure of Queen Charlotte of Württemberg as Princess Royal, to the right holding the Queen's fabric. To the left, a bust of Minerva sits on a table adorned with music manuscript, scrolls, and books. With drapery in the background, and a view of Westminster Abbey in the distance. With coat of arms and English inscription below, including publisher's address, 'Publish'd March 25th. 1778 by John Boydell Engraver in Cheapside London.' Proof with open lettering.
