A pair of Chinese porcelain plates painted in famille rose enamels. In the centre, a vase on a stand, with a spray of peony and one of peach, and a bowl of peaches and Buddha’s hand citron resting on a leaf, by another pink and white flower spray; round the rim, a scrolling border with four blue-pointed panels with white ruyi heads and brown scrollwork, separated by four pink and white flower sprays.
Made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, for export to the West.
