A porcelain plate with a rim formed of relief moulded parcel gilt foliate scrolls, the border gilded with foliate scrolls, shamrocks, thistles and rose sprays; painted at the centre with a crowned VR monogram.
Provenance
Presumably a sample plate or part of a service intended for Queen Victoria; this is the only example in the Royal Collection, presented to Queen Mary by Mrs Kington Baker, 1934
