Rectangular strut frame of bowenite, the bezel of green and red gold and the strut in gold openwork. The frame contains a sepia enamel view of Durham Cathedral. This frame was purchased by Dr Emanuel Nobel (1859-1932), one of Fabergé’s best customers, and is presumed to have been given to Edward VII or Queen Alexandra.
