A spray of raspberries, four ripe of rhodonite and two unripe of nephrite, all with nephrite leaves and clusters, on stalks of red gold, set in a cylindrical rock crystal vase.
One of two Fabergé raspberries in the Royal Collection. According to a note in an inventory of Queen Mary’s Fabergé collection, dated 1949, a raspberry flower was given to Queen Victoria in 1894 by Lord Carrington (1843-1928), her Lord Chamberlain from 1892 to 1895.
