Photograph of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) with members of her family during a visit to Coburg. Queen Victoria is sitting at the centre of the group with a dark shawl around her shoulders. A dachshund is curled up at her feet. Her eldest daughter Victoria, Dowager Empress Frederick (1840-1901) is sitting beside her to the right. Behind her stands, from left to right: Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught (1850-1942), Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh (1844-1900), Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany (1859-1941) and Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (1841-1910), later King Edward VII.
